Settlement Date and Move-in Date: Perfect Together

If you can possibly circumvent the situation where you are “temporarily” staying with family or friends, please do so. Another circumstance to avoid is renting an apartment for the short term because you must leave your old house or apartment before you can move into your new home.

Moving one time is a chore. Make every effort to schedule the closing date to correlate to the moving date.
